They have a courtyard and a gym for the people who need rehabilitation. The staff was very polite and very knowledgeable, and she answered all my questions. It has high ceilings and wide halls in the different wings of the building. From the outside, it looked like an old building.
They had a nice dining area, but it’s more for gatherings. Everybody was served dinner in their room. I am his son and I have had a wonderful experience with every member of the administrative and medical staff with whom I have had dealings. My father had stayed at another nursing home where he used to fall regularly, resulting in head injuries on two occassions that required hospitalization.

My mom is at Franco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and she’s happy there. They can accommodate her to go out and get her dialysis three times a week. They have a doctor on staff, some RNs, LPNs, and nurses aides, and they have given her physical therapy.

Rain poured in through the windows of both bedrooms. When I called they came and put plastic in the window and funneled it into a bucket. Once the rain ended they never came to retrieve their bucket or the plastic and did not repair the window. This happened again on two other occasions. They never fixed the window until I threatened to call housing on them. They have 3 pools in the complex and only one of them is ever open.

They did advise us that not all the apartments were upgraded, but we had no idea that the ones that weren't upgraded hadn't been updated since the 1970s. All of the appliances were incredibly out dated. The oven will not turn off from time to time. When we call maintenance will come and fix it until it does it again.

Trying to get this apartment complex to perform basic landlord duties is like pulling teeth. The maintenance staff is very nice, the outside is kept clean, but the ownership could use some work.

I was able to pay the small fee because they are the ones that went and picked my mother up from her and they took very good care of her. Mr. Norris also allowed me too have a personal viewing of my mother and he gave us locks of her hair at no extra charge. They had already cleaned her up and my mom had really long hair I will never forget how her hair was partially damp and it smelled so good.
